Patricia Ann (Weishuhn) Valk
Patricia Ann (Weishuhn) Valk passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, at home. Pat was born in Astoria, Oregon, on December 1, 1944. Her family moved around some because her father was in the Merchant Marines during World War II, finally settling in Livermore, California. She graduated from Livermore High School in 1963, and went to work as a teller in a local bank. In 1967, her coworker at the bank arranged a blind date for her with Theodore "Ted" Valk and he picked her up on a motorcycle, much to the surprise of her parents! She was very shy but went on a double-date anyway with his roommate and his roommate's girlfriend. Ted and Pat were married on August 3, 1968, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton, California, and resided in Livermore where they raised two fine boys and Ted nurtured his career at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 35+ years. Read More »
