Cascade Christian sophomore Blake Patereau set an early tone during Thursday afternoon’s District 7 doubleheader, hitting a pair of home runs and throwing a two-hit shutout as the top-ranked Challengers recorded an 11-0 win over Rogue River in Rogue River.

Patereau hit his third home run of the day as the Challengers completed the sweep by winning the nightcap 16-3 in five innings.
