Competing at the same stadium in which the OSAA state track meet was held a month ago, local athletes took to Hayward Field in Eugene last weekend for the Nike Outdoor Nationals & USATF U20 Championships in hopes of finding the same kind of success.

The local contingent featuring athletes from Grants Pass, Medford and Central Point faired well in both the U20 and Emerging Elite divisions.
