Stuart Falls/Red Blanket (Sky Lakes Wilderness)

Location: Near Crater Lake National Park/Prospect, Ore.

Distance: 8.5 miles round-trip

Difficulty: Moderate

Camping: Yes, but away from waterfall

Quick hit: A nice, fairly easy trail trail past multiple waterfalls that ends at the 40 foot Stuart Falls, a good place to camp or enjoy the day.

Directions: From Medford, Ore., drive east on Highway 62 (toward Crater Lake) for 45 miles to the turnoff for Prospect, Ore. Drive into the center of the small town and turn left onto Butte Falls Road. After one mile on Butte Falls Road, turn left on Red Blanket Road. After .4 miles, fork left onto Road 6205 for 11.4 miles to the end of this gravel road.
