A pickup truck belonging to a Merlin man who disappeared 14 months ago has been found in the Rogue River near Argo boat ramp.

A body was found inside but has not been positively identified as Richard Arthur Hillmann, Sheriff Dave Daniel said.

Hillman was 61 when he and his green Toyota Tacoma disappeared on Nov. 22, 2017, the night before Thanksgiving.

Daniel said a man using a metal detector about 150 feet downstream of the boat ramp saw the truck Wednesday around dusk, and alerted a deputy after driving to Merlin.
